Well, we planned & schemed & it all worked out great. We had a wonderful "country" meal, we surprised momma, we spent lots of time together, & we ate some cake & icecream. Mom's cake had an "old gray mare" constructed by my Aunt Suzi. My sister-in-law Kim, made a cow patty for the table centerpiece. It was GREAT! (and edible too) We decided on a money tree instead of gifts. The best thing is that EVERYONE was there. The old gray mare was supposedly put out to pasture, but she's just as good as ever.
