I had to work, but my sweet hubby met me at work (surprised me) with the kids & took me to eat. He had me an outfit to change into, my brush...so sweet. I chose to go "as is" to save some time though. We ate at Santa Fe to keep from leaving Bessemer. When we got home, they had me some doughnuts with candles burning in them. I had told Brantly "no birthday gifts", but he got a few little things from the kids. My VERY OWN tiny little shop vac. Ladybugs...hear I come! He got me 2 books by a couple of my favorite authors (the newest books by them) & some very cute socks (which he knows I love) My friends, Kim & Doris sent me some flowers at work. Mom & dad, Margaret & Grandma gave me some cash (love it) & Cheryl at work gave me a very cool new wallet. My very best gift of all was that I got to go to bed at 8:30!
