Good morning everybody.. Toady's scripture came from two areas. The first was Jesus talking about his return. A recurring message popped through again. Even with the end of times, it is still not a cause for worry but from great joy. When believers see these things happening, they will know that the return of Jesus is near. Rather than being terrified by what is happening in our world, we should confidently await Christ's return to bring justice and restoration to his people. This brought out something from my personal experiences. When times are tough, lean on God. When Disaster strikes, lean on God. When things are at their darkest, turn to God. He is the only answer to all of your problems. The beautiful thing about leaning on God is that you will feel so close to him and he will protect you whether it be through your thoughts, emotions, or another person.

The second scripture was of Jesus reminding us to remain watchful. Now folks, this is what I call speaking directly to me. Jesus said " Be careful or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will come unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who I've on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the son of man.".Dave Ramsey the financial guru says that one should wait six months before ever spending a large windfall of money. This could be a lottery for example. The reason for htis is that emotions can play a huge role in our decisions and emotions must be calm during investing. The same thing can be said about many different parts of life. When it comes to grief, we must walk through it and not attempt to dodge it. We cannot replace an empty feeling with a negative feeling. We must endure the fire so that we can be sharpend by our experiences and Gods;'s word. Christ is coming again and we need to watch and be spiritually fit. This means working faithfully at the tasks that God has given us. Don't let your mind and spirit be dulled by careless living, drinking, or the foolish pursuit of pleasure. Don't let life overburden you. You must be ready to move to God's command.

Our Heavenly father, thank you for this day. Thank you for all the blessings that you so graciously give. I pray for our country Lord. I pray that you convict our leaders. I thank you for so many wonderful friends and family who are there like a rock in times of need. Lord thank you for allowing me to remember that even in the worst of times that you are still there, and providing the promise of eternal life. Thank you for reminding me as I try to get ahead of you that you are in control and thank you for reminding me to slow down and let your take over. I realize how much better things work when I do this. I pray for all those unspoken prayers. Please reveal your purpose for my life to me.Show me what to do. I'm nothing without you in my life. I will remain watchful and I will look forward to the day that I meet you face to face and all the glory that will be presented by you. Forgive me of my sins and thank you for all that you will do today. In your name amen
